Speaker 1: Today our 2018 GMC Terrain, we're going to be test fitting the Yakima Halfback two bike rack. That's going to be part number Y02636. As you can see, we already have a bike installed, so let's take a look at some of the features. Starting from the outside, working our way in, you see on either side of these polls we have the Yakima bottle openers, which is on most of their bike racks. We look over here, the cradles, now these cradles are stationary so they don't move at all, but each cradle's going to have these zip strips that help secure your bike to the rack. And each cradle has this nice rubber TP padding. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 GMC Terrain, we're going to be test fitting the Yakima FullBack Two Bike Rack. That's going to be part number Y02634. As you can see, we already have a bike installed, so let's take a look at some of the features.We'll start from the outside and work our way in. You see, we have the patented Yakima bottle opener on the end of this pole, and on the other side we have an integrated cable locking system for the bike that's installed on the rear of your rack. You simply just pull this out, wrap it around your bike frame, and then you just stick it on the notch right there.You are going to get a set of keys so if when you want to unload your bike, you simply just stick the key in there and twist it, and it's going to unlatch it from the little knob. If we look up here, we see we have two cradles on top. more

Yakima Trunk Bike Racks Review - 2017 GMC Acadia- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 GMC Acadia, we're going to be test fitting the Yakima HangOut 2 Bike Rack for Trunk Mounts, part number Y02637.We already have a bike installed on the rack, let's go ahead and take a closer look here. Starting with the arms, the cradles are moveable, back and forth and side to side as needed, to help out with the installation. It does have an anti-sway cradle that folds out, like so, but also folds inward. It's going to make loading the bikes much easier.How it holds the bikes in place, it's going to have the two rubber straps up at the top here, as well as one off to the side, and that's going to serve as an anti-sway cradle to keep the bike from moving too far back and forth and causing bike to bike contact, or bike to vehicle contact.It does come with the wheel strap, as you see up front here, to ensure that the front tire here, or wheel, doesn't make contact with the actual vehicle itself. And once both bikes are installed, there's a much longer strap that goes around both bikes frames, as well as the bike rack itself, and that's going to help keep everything nice and compressed while you're traveling, to keep it from shifting back and forth as well.Let's go ahead and take the bike off. Start by removing the straps here, and you can see how that unloading is much easier.With it in this position, I'd like to give you a couple quick measurements here. more

Speaker 1: Today in our 2017 GMC Acadia, we're going to be test fitting the Yakima half-back two bike rack for trunk mounts, part number Y02636. We already have a bike installed on our rack, so let's go ahead and take a closer look and show off some of the features. We're going to start on the outside and work our way in, starting with the ends of our arms here. You're going to see that we have two bottle openers here, and this is going to be slightly different from the full-back in this situation. While this has two bottle openers, the full-back's going to have the added integrated cable lock to keep your bike safe. Not to say that this bike rack is inferior in any way, this is one that has less bells and whistles than the full-back.Moving on to the cradles, they are stationary, meaning they don't move back and forth, but they do have this TPE padding here at the base, and that's going to help protect the frame of your bike by acting as a shock absorber while you're traveling, so if you hit those bumps, it's going to make sure nothing gets damaged or scratched up. more

Flirts thing, overall what we're adding to our vehicle, we're going to have about 19 inches. more

Hollywood Racks Over-the-Top Trunk Bike Racks Review - 2002 GMC Envoy- Video
Today on this 2002 GMC Envoy, we're going to be test fitting the Hollywood Racks Over-The-Top 2 Bike Rack, part number HRF2. As you can see, we already have a bike installed on the rack. Let's go ahead and take a closer look and show off some of the features. Now how the bike is actually attached to the rack, you're going to have 3 points of contact. You're going to have 2 straps up top here and 1 strap off to the side here, which is going to serve as an anti-sway strap, which will keep it from going back and forth too much, hitting the bike rack or possibly the bike in front of it. Let's go ahead and take the bike off and set it off to the side. Now with the straps, once you remove them, it's a good habit to actually put them back in place because you don't want to possibly lose them while you're driving. Now that we've got the bike off, I want to go ahead and give you some measurements here or, I should say, one measurement. more
